I would like to verify my application on SAC and would like to know why i was not been a successful applicant. As you know i am already 49 yrs old and unemployed for 5 years since i stop working abroad. i tried to apply for a job since but no companies was accepting applicants on this age of mine. So i do not have a decent job ever since. I was really disappointed especially when some of my wealthy neighbors was been selected as SAC beneficiaries whereas for me who really badly need the help from the government was not lucky to be given the privilege to be a SAC beneficiary.

Your request

You requested the following: (1) Verification of your SAC application and you would like to know why you were not been a successful applicant. Response to your request

Unfortunately, this is not a valid Freedom of Information (FOI) Request. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request.

According to MC 009, s. 2020 entitled Omnibus Guidelines in the Implementation of the Emergency Subsidy Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development and is available at https://www.dswd.gov.ph/issuances/MCs/MC_2020-009.pdf, it is the barangay that chooses the SAP beneficiaries. Specifically:

	The LGU shall perform the following: xxx

		2.	Prepare the list of target beneficiaries/clients as stated above; xxx

Thus, you could inquire at your barangay regarding your non-inclusion.

Further, for other related concerns, you may wish to direct your concern to the DILG by submitting a request to them via this portal. Your right to request a review
