Thank you for your request dated Jan 10, 2022 08:01:27 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch to expedite the PCR TEST RESULT FOR RETURNING OFW-SEAMAN. Foremost, Mr. Plamara follow the instructions and rules in seeking assistance from any government office or in using the FOI e-portal. You are required to submit a snapshot of a government issued ID, which you failed to do. The consequence of this is to deny/decline service to you. HOWEVER, because you are allegedly speaking in behalf of your fellow seafarers, we will provide you with gneral information about the delays in issuing the PCR Results. In as much as OWWA want to expedite the results of the PCR Test, it is the Bureau of Quarantine of the DOH through its accredited Medical laboratories that are mandated to issue the results. All are anxious but please do understand and be knowledgeable of the vastness and severity of the world-wide COVID-19 that has affected the health and lives of many people. Our kababayans who served you are also getting sick and so are their families. Your utmost patience and understanding is needed at this time. Buwis-buhay po ang maging-frontliner, kaya unawain natin na sa dami ng nangangilangan mag PCR Test kulang na ang tapat na Pilipino na nagseserbisyo dahil sila ay nahawa na ng COVID-19 o nagluluksa sa pagkamatay ng mahal sa buhay. Understanding and patience lang ang hinihingi nila.
