Hello, I would like to request route information (e.g. maps/diagrams, route stops, etc.) of all fixed-route public utility vehicles currently running in Metro Cebu. This includes the routes for the following: Jeepneys, E-Jeeps, Beeps, City Buses (MyBus, UBE, etc.), Commuter Van-for-Hire, Commuter Ferries etc. that serve Metro Cebu (Cebu City, Carcar, Danao, Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Naga, Talisay, Compostela, Consolacion, Cordova, Liloan, Minglanilla, San Fernando)

Dear Joshua Mario Bacal,
I refer to my letter of Oct 31, 2019 06:56:20 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Route information of all fixed-route PUVs (Jeepney, e-Jeepney, Beep and Bus) serving Metro Cebu.
Per memorandum released by our Legal Affairs Office last 24 August 2018, any person who request information or documents in DOTr via the eFOI portal should "reasonably describe the information requested, and the reason for, or purpose of, the request for information." This also in accordance to E.O No. 2, s. 2016.

Hello, thanks for your response.
I am a software engineer working in the private sector.
My request is research for a personal project, as I plan to create a mobile app and/or website that will be a trip planner / transportation route for commuters / travellers in Metro Cebu.
I plan to incorporate the route information in my app/website to display the fastest, cheapest or most efficient travel route between 2 points.
I will be keeping this information in my personal computing devices as i develop my project.

Our response to your request is due on 21 November 2019. Unfortunately, it is taking longer than expected to deal with your request because FOI Portal is currently experiencing temporary technical difficulties in the electronic portal due to updating of other functions of the portal.
