October 13, 2017 Dear Chrissa Borja, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 04, 2017 08:59:42 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Rice yield and rice production value per municipality / city. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have statistics information you have requested. Currently, the Bureau of Agricultural Statistics, which holds all statistics data on staple agronomic crops, was not under the Department of Agriculture. It was currently managed by the Philippine Statistics Authority. However, you may wish to contact the Philippine Statistics Authority thru their director Mr. Romeo S. Recide at (02) 462-6600 locals 839, 833 and 834. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing a formal letter addressed to our department's Secretary. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
