Your Request You asked for Requesting LRN for my 2 kids. Response to Request Please be informed that the receiving school has the responsibility to register/update learner’s record in the Learner Information System (LIS) and in the absence of the Learner Reference Number (LRN), the receiving school is instructed to register the child in the LIS (if qualified) so he/she can obtain his/her LRN. Although LRN is not required for enrollment, the parents should provide any document/s to the receiving school proving the learner’s eligibility to the intended grade level. In case that the originating school is not recognized by or does not have permit to operate from DepEd, the learner should take the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) to assess the learner’s grade level capability.
