Hi, I would like to request for a copy of my travel records (travel outside Philippines) from year 2005 up to 2009. The record will be used for nursing license application to the California Board of Nursing to prove them that I was in the Philippines from 2005 to 2009 when I studied nursing. Your request You asked for Requesting for Travel Record. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we would need for you to personally file and request for your travel record at BI Main Office. Travel Record consist of personal information that is protected under the Data Privacy Act 2012, comprehensive and strict privacy legislation “to protect the fundamental human right of privacy, of communication while ensuring free flow of information to promote innovation and growth.” Other ways are to authorize someone with Special Power of Attorney or with court order. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the BI Commissioner, NORMAN G. TANSINGCO, Bureau of Immigration, Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
