Hi! Good Day! I'm Margarette Diel L. Carzon a graduating student of Junior High School this July 2020. I would like to ask if there's a way to know my LRN? I need it 'cause I'm applying for SHS Voucher and I had to meet the deadline. My current school is not recognized by the DepEd but I've been in the Public School before. I'm hoping for your immediate response. Thank you for your time!

July 3, 2020 Dear Margarette Diel Carzon, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jul 03, 2020 03:26:59 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for Requesting for my LRN. Response to Request Please be informed that the receiving school has the responsibility to register/update learner's record in the Learner Information System (LIS) and in the absence of the Learner Reference Number (LRN), the receiving school is instructed to register the child in the LIS (if qualified) so he/she can obtain his/her LRN, pursuant to the attached DepEd Issuances. Although LRN is not required for enrollment, the parents should provide any document/s to the receiving school proving the learner's eligibility to the intended grade level. In case that the originating school is not DepEd registered/authorized, the learner should take the Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) to assess the learner's grade level capability. Should you have further clarifications, you can directly seek the assistance of the concerned school administration where you intend to enroll the child and/or the nearest DepEd Regional/Division Office.
