The farmers, fisherfolks, fishpond operators, copra traders, charcoal traders, other agricultural traders and service providers of Barangay Buli, Calauag, Quezon Region 4A would like to request for the construction of a much needed Farm to Market road from Sitio Tubasan spillway to Buli proper, and on to Barangay Tiniguiban. For decades now we continue to suffer the effects of physical and economic isolation due to the absence of vehicular road access to Buli. We hope our desperate plea will be heard in order to ease our financial, physical, emotional struggles we experience every single day.
October 14, 2022 Dear Margaret, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 13, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for requesting Farm to Market Road Buli, Calauag, Quezon Region 4A. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the authority to accept FMR proposals. To help you with your request, please write a letter of intent/proposals stating the need for connecting the production area to the market through the construction of FMR. You can submit this to the DA Regional Field Office near you. It would be better if we can secure the Barangay/ Muncipal/ CIty/ Provincial LGU resolution and/or endorsement of the project and statement of its commitment to provide counterpart fund and its willingness to assists in the planning, construction and monitoring of the project, and its capacity to maintain and repair the road after the turnover. You may first coordinate with our DA Regional Field Office so that they can provide with additional requirements and supporting documents to facilitate prioritization and subsequent funding, and process for validating and geotagging of the said FMR. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
