I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of my request. Should you have any other verification you can contact me through this email [email protected].
Any update on this?
19 May 2023 Dear MR. DAN JEFFERSON G. ARCIAGA, This refers to your eFOI request wherein you sought assistance on updating your membership details. In reply to your request, kindly be informed that Section 3 of Executive Order No. 2, series of 2016 (Executive Order) grants every Filipino citizen the right to access information, official records, public records and to documents and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions or decisions, as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development. In accordance with the aforementioned Executive Order, the Pag-IBIG Fund People’s Freedom of Information Manual (Manual) also states that “Information for Disclosure” includes: information promoting the awareness and understanding of policies, programs, activities, rules or regulations affecting the public, government agencies, and the community and economy (Section 2 of the Manual). In other words, the nature and subject of requests for information pursuant to Executive Order No. 2, series of 2016 refer to the right of Filipino citizens to information on matters of public concern. It excludes requests pertaining to personal transactions with the Fund, which necessarily involves disclosure of personal information. Considering that your request pertains to your personal transaction and record with the Fund, this is not covered under the aforementioned Executive Order and Manual. Also, may we inform you that it is Pag-IBIG Fund’s official course of action to release the information requested after due validation and verification of the member’s identity. This is for the protection of its members and to ensure the security of the member’s personal information in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012. May we provide the following options on how you can obtain the details you need through the Pag-IBIG Fund Contact Center which operates 24-hours daily: 1. Phone call at (+632) 8-724-4244; 2. Email at [email protected]; or 3. Chat in our website at https://www.pagibigfund.gov.ph. The above options are highly encouraged so you don't have to travel, leave your house and avoid unnecessary exposure outside your residence. Nevertheless, you may visit a Pag-IBIG Fund branch nearest you that is open for service to ask for this information, and bring along with you two (2) government-issued identification cards for verification purposes. In compliance with Section 6.6.1 of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Memorandum Circular No. 2019-002, series of 2019 entitled Guidelines on the Implementation of the Citizen’s Charter in Compliance with Republic Act 11032, otherwise known as the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018,” and Its Implementing Rules and Regulations, may we kindly request your thoughts or feedback on how we can improve your experience by filling out the Feedback Form in this link: https://forms.office.com/r/A652CzriXW Thank you.
