September 20, 2022 Dear Ms. Emy Rose Salazar, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Sep 14, 2022 10:17:45 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application. Foremost Ms. Salazar be CORRECTLY INFORMED. The DOLE-AKAP is a program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Therefore, you have to direct your inquiries particularly on the change of claimant to the DOLE Regional Office 4A at Calamba City or the DOLE Provincial Office in Cavite. You can also look into the DOLE website: dole.gov.ph. Be REMINDED that the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is a government agency created by law R.A. 10801 or the OWWA Charter. Currently is an attached agency of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter.
