My name is marjorie agno a covid patient in a hospital in Batac City Ilocos Norte and have already been struggling financially due to this pandemic that has tremendously affected our meat business. I got confined last july 20 for severe covid pneumonia, was in the ICU for 5 days and released on july 31 2021. But since I also have Other comorbidities, I can no longer sustain for the daily maintenance of these comorbidities. My getting confined for a very expensive disease got me all lucked out, financially. So here I am, earnestly asking for your assistance so I could still have a chance.

October 1, 2021 Dear Marjorie Agno, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Sep 30, 2021 11:01:35 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Request for financial assistance for Severe Covid Patient with comorbidities. Response to your request We wish to inform you that the coverage of financial assistance under the PCSO Medical Assistance Program is for hospital confinement, chemotherapy and dialysis requests. Application for assistance shall depend upon the location of the health facility where the patient is being managed/treated. For facilities within Metro Manila, assistance is processed through online application at the PCSO Official Website. Please go to , find the E-Services tab and click on the NCR Online Application for Medical Assistance. For the Medical Assistance Program requirements, kindly go to this link https://www.pcso.gov.ph/ProgramsAndServices/CAD/MedicalAccessProgram.aspx. For those in the provinces, either proceed directly to the servicing PCSO Branch Office or coordinate first with the Medical Social Services or Billing Department of the facility, if applicable, to inquire on the specific process, as procedures vary between Branch Offices. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to . Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
