1.To date, my communications to BIR agents, including the email address of the BIR Commissioner, after having reported RATE cases online and submitted supports, continues to be stonewalled: emails to the agency bouncing, lacking of transparency of where the filed complaints are now. 2. Seeking overdue results of investigation(s) and/or actions taken against reported violators.

Your Request You asked for the status of Reported RATE (Run After Tax Evaders) cases on May 14, 2020 to BIR Commissioner Caesar Dulay. Response to Request Please be informed that the National Investigation Division has received your complaints. Pursuant to Revenue Regulations No. 16-2010, the complaints were assigned to our examiners for the conduct of a preliminary investigation to determine whether there exists probable cause that tax fraud or a violation of any provision of the Tax Code, as amended, was committed.
