This is in reference to the message you sent to the Electronic Freedom of Information (e-FOI) portal with tracking number “#DOTr-296972602656”, received by the Department, relative to your request for a Report on the Findings of the DOTR's dry run of the improved Active Transport Project along EDSA. Last January 2023, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) approved the proposal of DOTr to conduct a dry-run for the Active Transport Improvement Project along EDSA, provided that DOTr presents a traffic microsimulation of the project area. Between February to June 2023, the DOTr worked to address the traffic data concerns of the MMDA, and finalized the Traffic Management Plan (TMP) for the Project’s Dry-Run. As of 17 July 2023, the DOTr has yet to receive an approval from the MMDA on the proposed Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and the conduct of the Project Dry-Run following the submission of the final Technical Plans, Analysis Report, and Traffic Management Plan (TMP) to MMDA last 19 June 2023.
