November 4, 2019 Dear Third, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Nov 04, 2019 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we would need for you to resubmit your request as we are still missing from you some vital information. Per our AFP FOI Manual (https://www.afp.mil.ph/images/transparency/2018/afpfoimanual.pdf), please submit a fully accomplished AFP FOI Request For, a request letter "reasonably describing the information requested and purpose of the request,"and two valid government-issued IDs and clearances (PNP, NBI, Barangay). You may submit these to [email protected] However, items 1 and 2 of your request cannot be granted as it falls under the Rules on Exceptions (National Security). For your last concern, AFP camps like the Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo and Major Service headquarters (Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force) have recreational facilities that are open for use by military personnel, their dependents, and other civilians. These facilities include basketball courts, swimming pools, tennis and badminton courts, shooting ranges, and weightlifting facilities among others. The AFP through the Special Service and its line units have regular fitness programs for soldiers. Also, soldiers have personal leaves that they could spend for rest and recreation. For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: https://www.foi.gov.ph/help.
