Good Day,
may I request for the records disposition schedule imposed by DepEd to schools in keeping the records of their students. If this is not possible, may I request to know how long files are required to be kept by schools.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Clarification of Request
To whom it may concern,
I respectfully request a copy of the records disposition schedule used by DepEd to guide schools in how long they should keep their files. This is in line with my current research on the retention period of various sector, in both private and public sector.
I have already seen the General Circulation of the National Archives of the Philippines outlining the General Records Disposition Schedule for both the LGUS and Governement Agency. However, under the law, agencies may still create a disposition schedule of their own. For example, the Department of Health has their own disposition schedule, which was requested by another person here in eFOI, and was granted, and therefore published here in this site.
The aim of this research is to create a table outlining all the retention period of documents containing personal information, sensitive personal information and privileged information, as mandated by law.
I could not find the records disposition of DepEd online, thus this request.
I am under the impression that such Records Disposition Schedule exists. Under DepEd Memorandum No. 133 s. 2016 National Inventories of Pubic Records, under item number six, there is mention of approved DepEd RDS.
Thank you and hoping for your kind consideration.
