Greetings! For the partial fulfillment to the requirements for my thesis, I would like to request the following information: 1. Rate of Violence against Women and Children (VAWC) of every region. 2. Charts/graphs/tables related to the said topic (organized by region and by year). 3. Which region/location is the most suitable for a shelter to cater the victims of Violence against Women and Children (VAWC)? 4. Is it ideal to include male adult victims in this proposal?

27 August 2019 Dear Ms. Michelle Veane Viñas: You requested for the following: “(1) Rate of Violence against Women and Children (VAWC) of every region; (2) Charts/graphs/tables related to the said topic (organized by region and by year); (3) Which region/location is the most suitable for a shelter to cater the victims of Violence against Women and Children (VAWC); and (4) Is it ideal to include male adult victims in this proposal?” Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request. Since people report crimes such as VAWC to the Philippine National Police directly, they may have the data you need. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the PNP by submitting a request to the PNP via this portal. You may contact them by telephone at 723-0401. Very truly yours, Atty. Maria Cassandra M.
