Quickla is getting personal permission like contact number using the devised used in applying for loan. These contact numbers were not provided during the application and i believe that this action will violate the data privacy act, not only by the person who was involved with lending app but also, to the person they contacted by getting their information with their permission. Please do immediate action on this, please.

Your request You seek help due to the unauthorized access of your personal information by an online lending app. Response to your request While we aim to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, your inquiry is not a valid FOI request but a complaint to which the filing should follow our process under the NPC citizen’s charter. Under Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016, it provides for the guidelines on full public disclosure and transparency in the public service which covers only access to information, official records, public records, and to documents and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions or decisions, as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development.
