Thank you for your request for information on the matter of QC Styropackagaing Corp. being an organized establishment and documents related to union and CBA registration, under the Freedom of Information (Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016) filed in this Office on 05 August 2021. As to your request for confirmation, the regular rank-and-file employees of QC Styropackaging Corp. have been organized since 17 May 2018 when the union QC STYROPACKAGING CORP. EMPLOYEES UNION PACIWU-TUCP-ITUC was certified as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent (SEBA) of the said bargaining unit. Furthermore, a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between QC Styropackaging Corporation and QC Styropackaging Corp. Employees Union PACIWU-TUCP-ITUC was registered before this Office on 17 October 2018 with validity period of 01 August 2018 to 31 July 2023. As to your request for all documents related to union and CBA registration, the same is denied given that upon further evaluation of your request, the information you identified is among the exceptions listed in Annex A and/or the Inventory of Exceptions to Executive Order No. 2 (S. 2016) and are deemed confidential under Department Order No. 103-10, Series of 2010. If you are not satisfied with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
