As a part of the curriculum of BS Architecture Program, I, Lontoc, Lei Trinnah A., a fifth year Architecture student of Batangas State University, hereby request to conduct technical research and methodologies regarding my thesis proposal, "A Proposed Regional High School for the Arts" to be located in Western Visayas particularly in Antique as a requirement of our subject in Architectural Design 9 (ARCH 541).
In connection with this, may I request for these pertinent data and information that could aid my research studies. Here are the following:
• Public & Private Schools Enrollment in All Year Levels for SY 2015-2019 in the Philippines per Region
• Total No. of Incoming High School Students in Western Visayas per Region (Public and Private)

Background/Rationale:
House Bill No. 0633 introduced by Representative Loren Legarda states “An Act Creating a High School for the Arts in the Province of Antique to be known as the Antique High School for the Arts, and Appropriating Funds Therefore, and for Other Purposes.” Antique High School for the Arts will serve as the first Visayan campus extension of the Philippine High School for the Arts which is situated in Laguna.
Art is a pillar in nation building. Through its different forms, the arts provide continuous development of the roles of talented and passionate individuals in the preservation and promotion of Filipino artistic and cultural traditions. According to the former Chairman of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), Professor Felipe de Leon, Jr., the development of art allows people to express themselves and to strengthen their cultural energy, a motivation to work and engage meaningfully in social interactions.
Objectives of the Study:
1) To nurture the skills of the young Visayan artists and leaders in the preservation of their heritage and identity through arts and culture education
2) To hone “glocally”– globally competitive and locally rooted individuals that reflects the heart of our nation
3) To cultivate and enhance public interest in, and appreciation of distinctive Philippine arts in various fields and encourage them to assist in its promotion and conservation

In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Dec 16, 2019.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
