The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), as stipulated under Republic Act No. 10625, is tasked to develop and maintain the Philippine System of National Accounts (PSNA) which includes the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and Gross Regional Domestic Expenditure (GRDE). In 2021, MIMAROPA was chosen to serve as pilot region in Luzon for the estimation of the Provincial Product Account (PPA) and is now institutionalized in all its provinces.
The PSNA provides planners, policy makers and users, a description and assessment of the overall performance of the economy in the region/province in a given period. It includes the compilation of statistical indicators on different sectors of the economy from various sources such as census and survey results, administrative records of government and private establishments.
In line with this, we are requesting for a comparative statistical indicator from 2019 to 2021. Kindly fill-out the attached table of the sectoral hard indicators (Attachment A). Rest assured that these data would be treated with the strictest level of confidentiality.
