Good Day,
Thank you for your kind response to my request. This information will be used for my architectural thesis proposal which is a SPED Center for primary and secondary learners with disabilities.
As we know, every year there is an increase in the number of learners with disabilities in our country. The latest recorded learners with disabilities in the school year 2019-2020 has a total number of 138,173 in the country. The top three (3) highest regions are Region IV A, followed by NCR, and lastly Region III. These numbers are only a small percentage of the total number of PWD’s in our country. The other percentage has not been given the same quality of education due to lack of facilities, difficulty in transportation, the difficulty level of their disabilities or situation, and other more factors.
This proposal aims to provide them an architectural design with proper spaces that could help them to have a safer and more comfortable learning environment for their physical and mental development and this will serve as a course of action for persons/learners with disabilities to raise awareness of their own right to have an equal opportunity in education. And may this be a way for them to have a better chance in life and in other opportunities that have been hindered due to the lack of education.
The following data are needed for my architectural thesis proposal:
1. Authorized SPED Schools or Facilities in Region 4 and in Batangas
2. Number of Learners with Disabilities in Region 4 and Batangas (with the specific disabilities)
3. Total population of Learners with Disabilities from primary to secondary level in Region 4 and in Batangas
I hope this information could be helpful to you. Thank you and hoping for your help in providing this information.
Sincerely,
Kristine Bolivar

Good Day,
Thank you so much for responding to my request.
As previously mentioned, I am an architecture student from National University-Manila. I am in the process of fulfilling my thesis and I would like to propose a SPED Center for primary and secondary learners with disabilities and I have chosen Batangas as its location.
In order to provide an effective thesis proposal, I would need to know the following information:
1. Updated Population of Learners with Disabilities in Region 4, Batangas (with the specification of their different disabilities)
2. Updated Population of PWD in Region 4, Batangas
3. Authorized SPED Schools or Centers in Batangas
With the increasing number of persons with disabilities in our country, there is also an increase in the number of learners with disabilities. According to studies, Region 4A has the highest rate of persons with disabilities in our country. Being said, they need special support and attention in achieving a more formal education in order to have an equal opportunity.
This proposal aims to provide learners with disabilities an equal opportunity for proper education and to provide them a safe and comfortable learning environment to help them enhance their physical and mental development. This proposal will also serve as a course of action to help raise awareness of the current situation of PWDs.
I'm willing to provide a copy of my valid ID/s but, the link provided is not working. And I cannot attach it here. Kindly send me an email address where I can send my valid ID/s. Thank you.
I would greatly appreciate your help and response to my requests. Hoping to hear from you soon.
Thank you so much,
Kristine Bolivar
