Good day. I would just like to confirm if there is a policy with regards to donations (e.g. security guard, school publication, STEP, PTA) from students such as from Grade 7, to know if it is valid and allowed. The school said that the student shall not be able to take the exam if not partially or fully paid. The school is somewhere located in Leyte.

Response to Request The private schools have their own rules and regulations that can be found in their Handbook or Student Manual. Upon enrollment of your child, it has been understood that you are agreeing with their school policies. However, you have the right to discuss your concern with the school principal for clarifications. If this is not settled, you may write a formal letter thru the Division Office in your area. You may look for the supervisor in-charge of the private school.
