Magandang umaga po. Nais ko lamang mag tanong kung ano po mga requirements para po sa piso wifi. Nais ko po mag lagay ng isang piso wifi machine sa aking nasasakupan upang makapag bigay ng access sa internet sa halagang abot kaya ng aking nasasakupan. Sim base po ang aking internet at nangailangan po Ito ng outdoor or external antenna (single pole) na may taas na 15ft mula sa bubong. Para makasagap ng magandang signal. Meron pa po ba akong kailangan permit sa ntc or pwede na po ang barangay o mayor's permit. Maraming salamat po

February 11, 2021 Dear Edwin Cuartero, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Feb 11, 2021 11:16:13 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for Piso wifi business. Response to Request This refers to your request for the List of Requirements that is needed in connection to your plan to put up a Wifi business. Please be informed that under existing laws, rules and regulations only enfranchised telecommunications entities are allowed to offer telecom services to the public for compensation. However, under Memorandum Circular No. 02-05-2008 dated 30 may 2008, the commission may issue Value Added Services (VAS) registration to private entities, provided that they comply with all the conditions stated in the list of requirements including that the grantee shall not put up its own network, wired and wireless (radio), and shall use the transmission network, toll or local distribution of the authorized public telecom entities. the copy of the said memorandum circular is readily available at the NTC website (www.ntc.gov.ph). You may contact the Regulation Branch through Telephone No. 8924-4026 for further information.
