I refer to my letter of Jan 02, 2022 11:23:51 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Philippines Forest Cover Report (any latest year). Specifically you have requested for data on: Total forest cover (ha), Protected area cover (ha), Unprotected area cover (ha) of the following:
- Tropical dry forest
- Tropical moist forest
- Tropical mountain system
- Water
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. It would be helpful if you could specify the scope of your request. Please specify the province/region covered by your request. Also, data available is on forest cover for closed, open and mangrove. Hi, thank you so much for the response. It would be helpful for us if you can give us the data on all regions but if this is not possible, any data on the national level will do. Since the data available is on forest cover for closed, open, and mangroves only, please use that instead of what I specified on my request. Thank you again!
