To whom it may concern,
My warmest greetings to you! I, Christian G. Pataray, am writing a letter as a 4th-year Architecture student from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. As per the requirement of our subject, Research Methods in Architecture, we are tasked to conduct a research paper regarding a problem we would like to address through architectural solutions. My title is CALABARZON Integrated School for Children with Physical Disability: Designing a Better Learning Environment through the Incorporation of Stimulation Theory and Universal Design which is a school facility that would aim to provide the proper learning environment for children and youth with physical disability across the CALABARZON or Region 4A.
The main goal of this study is to design an Integrated School for Children with Physical Disability that will provide educational and rehabilitation services for the users, promotes inclusivity, and develop the quality of special education in the country.
The objectives are as follows:
1. To conduct a study on the physiological and psychological behavior of children with physical disability in order to provide an appropriate design that is highly sensitive to the needs and behavior of the target users.
2. To formulate and translate appropriate architectural strategies that will create sensory stimulation for specific learners with different disabilities and apply it in the proposed project's design.
3. To understand and utilize universal design strategies and frameworks in the planning of an integrated school.
In line with this, I would like to request the following information:
1. Floor plan for Philippine school for the blinds
2. Floor plan for Philippines school for the deaf
3. Floor plan of NOH School for Crippled Children
The information will be used only for case study purposes.

I refer to my letter of May 02, 2023 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Philippine School for the Blinds and the Deaf Floorplan. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Jul 25, 2023.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
