Hi, good morning PIA. I am a researcher from the Ateneo de Manila University conducting a study on media platform penetration. In this regard may I kindly request for Philippine Media Factbook and Other Facts and Figures published by your research department for the years 2000 onwards. Thank you very much.

February 3, 2021 Dear Gerald Pascua, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 10, 2020 01:08:11 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for Philippine Media Factbook and Other Facts and Figures (2000 onwards). Upon review of our archived records, we currently do not have the electronic copy of the media factbook since year 2000, as those were being sold at a price during that time. However, we have hard copies at our library which you may take a photo or photocopy for the intended purpose as you have provided. We would like to thank you as well for your patience while we review our files as we had difficulty in backtracking records since 2000. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to DG Ramon L. Cualoping III via email at [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
