Hi! I already searched PPA's website but did not find the information I was looking for. I would like to request for data on the ff: 1. The number of vessels per type (RoRo, fast craft, motorized passenger boats, etc.) per port per year in the Philippines from '13 to '18. 2. The number of passengers (embarked, disembarked) per type of vessel per port for each yr from '13 to '18. 3. Routes of passenger vessels per port. 4. Number of passengers(embark) per route (origin-destination) per year from '13 to '18. 5. The number and type of passenger vessels per route serviced in PH per yr. Thank you.
November 22, 2019 Dear Jochebed, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Nov 14, 2019 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for PH Ports data: Passengers per type of vessel and Number of vessels per type per port (2013-2019). Response to your request We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request.. Upon initial evaluation of your request, please be apprised that we deem that only your requests for number of passengers can be provided by the Authority and is available online at : http://www.ppa.com.ph/annual-statistical-report-by-year-vol-1. On the other hand, for your requests for vessels per type, routes of passenger vessels, and number and type of passenger vessels per route can be best addressed by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA). You may coordinate with their FOI Officer for these requests. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to us. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
