Hello. I know this is not the right place but we don't have enough resources to do proper filing. No money, no support only our will and the truth. I hope you could help my father's case be reviewed. Currently it is being handled in the province by a Judge who's family is backing up a girl that cries wolf and filed against my father which is rape. We have evidences and we lost faith in justice that this will not be looked into based on facts and evidence but based on bias jurisdictions. We will lose not only a father but also a mother who's falling because of all this. [email protected]

September 24, 2019 Dear Jascy Sahara Reposar, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Aug 20, 2019 05:04:49 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for assistance in a case which involves your father and presently handled by a judge in your province. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office cannot provide the assistance you request. Pursuant to settled policy and practice, this Department has generally refrained from meddling into matters falling within the primary jurisdiction of another office or agency of the government. In this case, it appears matter you are refer to is pending before the judicial branch of the government. This practice has evolved not only from practical considerations but also out of respect and deference for the competence of the office having primary jurisdiction to resolve the matter and for its familiarity with the policy repercussions of the resolution of the questions involved. Likewise, this office cannot render opinion or give legal advice on matters which are justiciable in nature or those which may be the subject of a judicial controversy. For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: https://www.foi.gov.ph/help. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Hon. Menardo I. Guevarra, Secretary, Department of Justice, Padre Faura Street, Ermita, Manila.
