July 10, 2022 Dear Ms. Sandra Caldo, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jul 07, 2022 06:58:35 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application. Ayun po sa OFW Information System kayo po ay hindi na isang active OFW dahil ang overseas employment contract ninyo sa Kuwait ay pumaso na noong December 2020. At kung kayo po ay napasama sa mga repatriated worker na inayos ng Philippine Embassy sa Kuwait, hindi pa rin kayo kasama sa ayuda ng DOLE-AKAP dahit ang programa ay para lamang sa mga OFWs na nawalhan ng trabaho dahil sa COVID-19. Ang mga may finished contract ay hindi kasali. BE CORRECTLY INFORMED that the DOLE-AKAP is handled by the Department of Labor and Employment and therefore all queries on the status of your application should be directed to the DOLE Region or Provincial Office nearest you. Follow up with the DOLE Regional Office or call DOLE Hotline at 1349. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request. However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
