Hi! I would like to request information about the scholarship grant from your office. My sister is going to become a freshman student in SY 2023 to 2024, but presently, she is still a Grade 12 student. My father is currently working in Bahrain as a decorative painter. I would appreciate it if you could tell me how can my sister avail of the said scholarship if there's any. Thank you so much!

Thank you for your request dated Jul 26, 2021 10:17:09 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for information on Scholarship Programs for dependents of OWWA-member OFWs. Visit the OWWA website: www.owwa.gov.ph for education and scholarship grants. Review the qualification requirements and follow the procedures on how to apply. OWWA scholarship is for tertiary level. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request. However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
