February 13, 2022 Dear Ms. Abegail Doguil, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Feb 12, 2022 06:31:00 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for an update of your DOLE-AKAP Application. OWWA Verification System shows that you applied online on August 23, 2021 and was QUALIFIED to the DOLE-AKAP. Your application is with the DOLE Regional Office-CAR for the processing and release of financial benefit. Be advised/informed that DOLE-AKAP is an assistance program of the government for OFWs who lost their employment due to COVID-19 related matters. The financial assistance is distributed by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to qualified OFWs. Therefore, address your queries and follow-ups with DOLE-Regional Office CAR or the nearest DOLE Provincial Office. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at email: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter.
