Good day, I was wondering if I could process and obtain a LTO Driver’s License Certification and Certificate of No Apprehension online for applying my foreign license in Canada? My flight is this coming Sunday, January 9, 2022 to Toronto and I am currently isolating myself due to the rising cases of covid. I would want to be covid free so I could enter Canada. My only choice as of the moment is to process it online if permitted. Hoping for your quick response. Thank you and have a good day!

January 18, 2022 Dear Rhina, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jan 05, 2022 12:23:38 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for online application for LTO's drivers license certification and certificate of no apprehension. Response to your request We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. Please be informed that you can get a certificate of no apprehension through the LTMS portal. In your LTMS dashboard go to Documents > No Apprehension > Apply Certificate > Input the needed details > pay through our online payment partners. Once payment is Successful, your certificate will be sent in your email address or it is also visible in the documents page under “No Apprehension”, you may print the said file. Note: that the client needs to switch to desktop mode to see the “PRINT” icon. Here are the requirements for the Driver's License Certification: - Photocopy of Driver's License and Official Receipt -For DFA Authentication, the Driver's License should be valid -Letter of Authority and Valid I.D. of authorized representative. You may process this at the LTO Central Office.
