30 March 2021 Dear Mr. Vince Christian Tapia, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated 9 March 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You requested for data the following for advocacy, research and development: (1) Number, documents, reported cases of VAWC and assistance programs to victims in Muntinlupa City. Response to your request Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request. The data might be available at the Philippine National Police (PNP) since people report crimes such as VAWC to the PNP directly. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the PNP by submitting a request to the PNP via this portal. You may contact them by telephone at 8723-0401. For statistics, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) may have the complete data you require. Under Republic Act 10625 (the “Philippine Statistical Act of 2013”), the PSA is the government agency responsible for preparing and conducting periodic censuses on population, housing, agriculture, fisheries, business, industry and other sectors of the economy. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the PSA by submitting a request to the PSA via this portal. You may also contact the PSA by telephone at 462-6600 locals 839, 833 and 834 or via email at [email protected]. Additionally, your requested data might be available at the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW).
