I would like to request for data related to the distance learning program of the Department of Education during the pandemic. I will use the data for my Special Problem which aims to develop an index that will assess the efficiency of different local government units (LGU) on the implementation of distance learning. The Special Problem will be submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Statistics at the University of the Philippines – Diliman. I am particularly interested in the following datasets:
1. Results of the Learner Enrollment and Survey Form per province/city/municipality for public schools.
2. Number of male and female public school enrollees per grade level per province/city/municipality for SY 2020-2021 and SY 2019-2020.
3. Elementary and secondary Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) and Net Enrollment Ratio (NER) per province/city/municipality for SY 2020-2021 and SY 2019-2020.
4. Transition rate (percentage of enrollees in a level of education in SY 2019-2020 who moved on to the next higher level in SY 2020-2021) per province/city/municipality.
5. Number of public school students who enrolled for SY 2020-2021 but dropped out within the academic year per province/city/municipality.
6. Number of public school students who obtained a passing grade during quarter 1 and quarter 2 of SY 2020-2021 per province/city/municipality.
7. Number of public school teacher, teaching staff, administrative aide for SY 2020-2021 per province/city/municipality.
8. Number of public school teachers who filed for leave for SY 2020-2021 per province/city/municipality.
9. Number of public school students who received self-learning modules (SLM) for quarter 1 and quarter 2 of SY 2020-2021 per province/city/municipality. Did all public school students receive printed SLM? If not, please provide breakdown on the number who received printed SLM, digital SLM (such as USB), and SLM in other modes.
10. Number of public school students who received self-learning modules ON TIME for quarter 1 and quarter 2 of SY 2020-2021 per province/city/municipality.
11. Number of public school students who failed to receive self-learning modules for quarter 1 and quarter 2 of SY 2020-2021 per province/city/municipality.
12. Number of public school teachers who created their own modules per province/city/municipality.
13. Number of infrastructures/resources for remote learning available in each school including printers.
14. What are the trainings provided to public school teachers in preparation for distant learning? Number of public school teachers who completed each training per province/city/municipality.
15. What are the trainings provided to parents/guardians in preparation for distant learning? Target number and actual number of parents who completed each training per province/city/municipality.
16. Breakdown of the number of gadgets, including laptop, tablet, pocket wifi device, donated by each Local Government Unit (LGU) to public school students and teachers for SY 2020-2021.
17. Breakdown of Department of Education (DepEd) budget allocated to learning continuity plan, including SLM module printing, gadget procurement, etc., for SY 2020-2021.
18. Breakdown of Special Education Fund (SEF) spending in 2020 and 2021 for learning continuity plan, including SLM module printing, gadget procurement, etc., per LGU.
19. 2020 Special Education Fund (SEF) income per LGU.
20. 2020 Special Education Fund (SEF) spending per LGU.
21. 2020 Special Education Fund (SEF) balance per LGU.
