You asked data on number of reported sexual abuse/exploitation and physical abuse among children by month and region from January 2019 to September 2021 for academic research.
Response to your request
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance available data only from the CWC are reported cases of abuse/violence (physical and sexual) during the community quarantine from March 16-April 26, 2020 and reported types of violence to the barangays from Regions 3, MIMAROPA, 5, 6, 7, 8, and NCR from March 16-June 15, 2020 while Region 1 and 12 data are from May 16 to June 15, 2020. There is also a report on violence against children based in 2015 National Baseline Study on Violence Against Children (Source: Quick Data of Children’s Situation During the Covid-19 Pandemic, published on September 2020). The data are accessible online at the CWC website with link address www.cwc.gov.ph.
Moreover, other available data that might be of help are regional data on total number of violence against children from January-December 2020 by age and sex from PNP Crime information Reporting and Analysis System as of January 21, 2021 (Source: Quick Data on Children’s Situation During the Pandemic from January 2020 – April 2021). Data are available online at the CWC website with link address www.cwc.gov.ph.
For specific type of data like number of reported on abuse by type such as sexual and physical abuse among children by Region from January 2019 to September 2021, we would like to inform you that the usual frequency data reporting of Agencies/Departments are annually. Hence, official data for the current year (2021) will be available next year.

Your right to request a review
