I am a 5th year BS Architecture student from De La Salle University - Dasmariñas currently taking up an undergraduate thesis, school year 2019 - 2020. As of our requirements I am conducting a research for my proposed thesis entitled: “Proposed Playground Approach Museum of Filipino Children’s Literature".

Proposed Title: Proposed Playground Approach Museum of Filipino Children’s Literature

ABSTRACT:
The proposed Playground Approach Museum showcase Filipino Children’s Literature (Pambatang Panitikan) in a way a child will take interest by engaging in a full body activity. It is scientifically explained that a child performs confidently and intelligently when learning through play. Likewise, children tend to remember and memorize an information when engaged in a physical activity. Hence, the museum shall cater an interesting approach, whereas play areas is translated into different folk stories, fables, or fairytales from the Philippines. Creating a story telling museum that visualize children literary works into a hands-on discovery and involving folk stories like “Alamat ng Pinya” and modern stories like “Juan Tamad” into a real-life playing experience for a child. Encouraging the public to value literature and enabling the youth to be early exposed to great literary works and ancient form of culture, for them to tell stories towards the future generation of the country.
