14 December 2020 Dear Mr. April Vince Famatiga, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated 12 December 2020 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You requested information on the following for your thesis research: (1) Number/rate of PTSD/Mental Health disorder in Armed Forces of the Philippines from 2015-2020; and (2) Demographic Profile of AFP who has mental health issues. Response to your request Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request. Since you are asking information about members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the V. Luna Medical Center and/or the Veterans Memorial Medical Center might have the data you require. Both hospitals are under the Department of National Defense (DND). Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the DND by submitting a request to the DND via this portal. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary ROLANDO JOSELITO D. BAUTISTA at DSWD-Central Office, IBP Road Batasan Pambansa Complex, Constitution Hills, Quezon City.
