You need to initially seek endorsement from the UP Manila Research and Ethics Board prior to the approval of the request. It can be accessed online through the UPMREB website (reb.upm.edu.ph) . There are forms to be filled up and instructions are given. Subsequently, you need to register via online to the Research Grants Administration Office (RGAO). Once clearance has been obtained, the PGH Expanded Hospital Research Office (EHRO) will issue a permit for the request to proceed and to be acted upon by the concerned department. For clarification and other inquiries pertaining to the conduct of research in PGH, the EHRO can be reached at telephone number 8554-8400 local 2064. Its office is located on the second floor of UP PGH. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request. As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Aug 03, 2023.
