I refer to my letter of Apr 20, 2023 02:46:50 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Number of patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Philippine General Hospital.
We are respectfully recommending that the researcher follow the protocols for conducting research in UP Manila. You need to initially seek endorsement from the UP Manila Research and Ethics Board prior to the approval of the request. It can be accessed online through the UPMREB website (reb.upm.edu.ph) . There are forms to be filled up and instructions are given. Subsequently, you need to register via online to the Research Grants Administration Office (RGAO). Once clearance has been obtained, the PGH Expanded Hospital Research Office (EHRO) will issue a permit for the request to proceed and to be acted upon by the concerned department. For clarification and other inquiries pertaining to the conduct of research in PGH, the EHRO can be reached at telephone number 8554-8400 local 2064. Its office is located on the second floor of UP PGH.
Once you have the permit, you may send it to us using the reply function on the eFOI portal at https://socmedialinks07192018-dot-efoi-ph.appspot.com/requests/aglzfmVmb2ktcGhyHQsSB0NvbnRlbnQiEFVQTS0wMTI5NDQ4NDM0NDcM, for request with ticket number #UPM-012944843447, to respond.

I refer to my letter of May 11, 2023 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Number of patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Philippine General Hospital. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Aug 03, 2023.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
