Thank you for your request dated Sep 13, 2021 10:49:55 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for Number of Insurance Companies (Life and Non-Life) in Romblon. Response to Request According to the Licensing Division of the Insurance Commission, we cannot provide the number of insurance companies operating within a specific province. Please note that the license to an insurance company allows it to operate within and anywhere in the Philippines. In this regard, please be advised that as of 29 September 2021 there are currently five (5) composite insurance companies (life and non-life), twenty-six (26) life companies, and fifty-two (52) non-life insurance companies being regulated by this Commission. Please be also advised that for a more comprehensive list, you may visit the Insurance Commission website through the following link: https://www.insurance.gov.ph/regulated-entities/life-and-non-life-companies/. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to [email protected].
