Hi! I would like to request for the information regarding the the number of enrolled undergraduate freshmen during the 1st semester from 1995 to 2015. This would be used not only for research but also for verification of claims regarding the inequity in UP Admission most especially with the TOFI hike and the STFAP/STS. Take note that I'm only looking for the numbers not other personal info.

You asked for information on the number of enrolled undergraduate freshmen from 1995 to 2015.

Since you did not provide Form F which needs your signature and should be administered under oath as required under the UP FOI Manual, we regret that we are constrained to DENY your request.

Article III Section 7 of the 1987 Constitution, which is the basis for the requirement under the UP FOI Manual, states:

“The right of the people to information on matters of public concern shall be recognized. Access to official records, and to the documents, and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions, or decisions, as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development, shall be afforded the citizen, subject to such limitations as many be provided by law.”
