Greetings in St. La Salle!
I am Marian Joy B. Toribio, a 5th year BS Architecture student from De La Salle University- Dasmariñas currently taking up Architectural Design 9 (Thesis Research Writing) this 1st semester, school year 2019-2020. As part of my requirements for my thesis entitled: "Proposed Philippine Forestry Research And Training Institute”.
This study is conceptualized as a way of proposing an architectural solution and possible way of responding to the issues of the Philippine forests. The Philippine Forestry Research and Training institute is an establishment that would focus on the development and evolution of scientific forestry in the Philippines. This project would contain research facilities for conducting researches into science, training facilities for enhancing one’s skill with regards to protecting and taking care of the forest, library for sources of information, and lastly, botanical museum to showcase the beauty of the forests or any forest products. This project is for the Filipinos to expand their knowledge regarding the forests of the Philippines and its current state. Creating a project like this would help assess the problems in the forests of the Philippines, in finding a solution to the problems, and also be of use to educate the Filipinos.
As I conduct my research, I have established that the department has the needed data which is relevant in planning the research and training institute about forestry that shall help in finding a suitable location for the project proposal. Therefore, I humbly hope that you can assist me to secure or see copies of the following necessary data for the proposal:
1. Number of Educational Facilities per province of Region II
2. Number of Educational Facilities per province of Region III
3. Number of Educational Facilities per province of Region IVA
4. Number of Educational Facilities per province of Region IVB

I refer to my letter of Oct 11, 2019 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Number of Educational Facilities in Region II: Cagayan Valley. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Jan 03, 2020.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office.
