Hi! May I request please for the number of domestic passenger per passenger type (business, leisure, visiting family and friends) per airline in the Philippines separated annually. Please also include your agency's forecast until 2025. The agency forecast can just be in general without separating per airline and separated according to type of transpo (air, land, sea).

Your Request You asked for the following: 1. Annual number of domestic tourists by the purpose of visit from 2017 to 2022; 2. Annual number of domestic tourists by the airline from 2017 to 2022; and 3. Projected number of tourist arrivals by 2025. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have any data on the information you have requested. 1. Please be informed that we only have data on the number of domestic travelers based on the 2016 Household Survey on Domestic Visitors (HSDV) conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Upon coordination with SEAIMD, there is no available data for 2017 to the present because the said survey is not conducted annually. However, the next HSDV survey is scheduled on November 2022. Upon coordination with SEAIMD, the DOT does not have any data on the number of domestic tourists by the airline.
