Hi! I am Angelica Yang, a multimedia reporter at BusinessWorld. I would like to ask about number of college students who have stopped going to school from the start of the lockdown (March 15, 2020) up until May 1, 2021. Of the number, how many students came from private schools and, state universities and colleges? Grateful if the department can provide the information in Excel format. Thank you!
May 28, 2021 Dear Angelica, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 24, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for number of college students who stopped going to school from March 15, 2020 to May 1, 2021. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, this Office does not any data on the number of college students who stopped going to school from March 15, 2020 to May 1, 2021. However, we may be able to provide the number of students per college and university. If you wish to have the said information, you may resend your request at the eFOI portal. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
