I am conducting a study about the relationship between armed conflicts and food insecurity. Herein, I would like to request for the number of encounters that happened in all municipalities and cities in the provinces of Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Western Samar, between the government forces and any insurgent groups, from which 2010 to 2019.

I refer to my letter of Aug 07, 2020 12:55:50 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Number of armed encounters in Samar Island.
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. I refer to my letter of Aug 20, 2020 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Number of armed encounters in Samar Island. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Nov 12, 2020.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
