To whom it may concern: Last April 11, the Rules on Expedited Procedures in the First Level Courts took effect. Upon checking the MTCs of Pasig, they are still using the 2016 forms. Also, the forms are not available in the Supreme Court website. In line with this, may I know if there is a chance that the Department of Justice can provide us a soft copy?
May 10, 2022 Dear Ace, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 05, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for New small claims forms. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested because small claims are civil in nature overseen by the Judiciary. On the other hand, the DOJ is under the Executive branch of government which deals with the prosecution of criminal cases. Unfortunately, the SC and the courts under it are not on-board the FOI platform because the FOI is only by virtue of an Executive Order which only covers agencies under the Executive branch. However to assist you, you may wish to contact the Supreme Court (SC) at [email protected]. Thank you, FOI Receiving Officer
