Dear Ms. Clarin, For students' thesis or research requests thru FOI, BCDA usually grants these on the condition that the students will conduct their research within BCDA premises. This is due to the confidentiality of the documents commonly requested which cannot be sent via electronic mail. In view of the current covid-19 pandemic, and the issuance of CHED's Advisory No. 7 s. 2020 which suspends face-to-face meetings for students, the BCDA FOI Committee has temporarily suspended the grant of research requests until further notice. Rest assured that BCDA shall immediately lift this suspension once it has been determined by CHED and/or the IATF on Emerging Infectious Diseases that it is safe for students to conduct face-to-face meetings. Very truly yours, Atty Glenda R. Rumohr FOI Decision Maker Aristotle E. Guerrero FOI Receiving Officer
