In line of gathering data about my thesis topic entitled: Santa Rosa City College: An Educational Facility Producing Economically Competitive Students through Constructivist Approach, I respectfully request that may I kindly be allowed to acquire data and information which would be an integral part of my research undertaking, specifically the latest NCAE Result/s in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, ideally from the year 2014-2018.
This information shall be useful in the formulation of the projected program degrees offered in this school, which shall be included in the Data Presentation and Analysis, and Architectural Programming of my research.
Your most favorable and preferential consideration upon this matter is highly appreciated. An Educational Facility Producing Economically Competitive Students through Constructivist Approach
ABSTRACT
Education is a fundamental human right. Every person in any race, gender, nationality, ethnic or social origin, religion or political preference, age or disability, must have the access for education.
Education is a right; but the irony is not everyone can have it because of the circumstances where it becomes privilege. Financial instability is one of the common factor why Filipinos cannot afford to have complete formal education.
The proposed Santa Rosa City College aims to of the needs of the city to meet the increasing demand for public tertiary education, and to expand the degree programs to be offered, specializing on the fields that uplifts the economy of the city. Santa Rosa City is known to be the Lion City of the South because of its rapid growth economy and increasing population. The city has highlights in notable business industry including electronics and semi-conductor, automotive and automotive parts, metal, packaging, food processing, and the promising Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Industry.
Through architecture, the physical structure and facilities of the Santa Rosa City College shall be designed to the extent of the economic competitiveness development of the students. The flow of the movement and activities of the students shall be planned in accordance to the curriculum of the degree program offered in this school, while considering their culture, socio-economic status, and the learning ability. The constructivist pedagogy shall be patterned as an approach to the architectural program of the school, which will be based on the prior experience and knowledge of a learner, and its goal is to develop to the extent of one’s intellect.
