May I request a copy of the National Achievement Test (NAT) Results specifically in the area of science for 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 in the following Level;
(1) Overall National Performance/Rating
(2) Overall Performance of National Capital Region (NCR)
(3) Overall Performance of Manila City
(4) Individual Performace/Rating of the Schools in NCR
I need this as I am currently doing research about creating an effective pedagogy for high school science students

I am Jason G. Jimenez, a De La Salle University – Manila graduate student. I want to request the following information:
• National Achievement Test results in science for:
o Overall National Performance/ Rating
o Overall Performance of National Capital Region (NCR)
o Overall Performance of Manila City
o Individual Performance/ Rating of the Schools in Manila City
The purpose of getting this information is to gather further insights for the development of my research, especially using the NAT results as my baseline in assessing the current situation of science education in NCR, particularly manila city. The intended output is my developing research entitled ‘Enhancing students’ science identity through inquiry-based learning modules with the integration of micro-lecture.’

I refer to my letter of Nov 05, 2022 03:37:58 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for National Achievement Test Results 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.
Please be informed of the additional requirements you need to submit. To process your request, kindly submit the following documents to [email protected], stating your FOI request tracking code:
a. Letter specifying the purpose of the request and the data being requested (year administration, scope, variables);
a. School ID to show proof that you are enrolled in a higher education institution;
B. Copy of your approved thesis/dissertation proposal signed by your Adviser;
c. Endorsement letter signed by the school Dean.
Note that the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) can only release 10% of the actual number of examinees per year. Individual test results with names shall not be released unless the “data subject agrees to the collection and processing of personal information about and/or relating to him/her” per Section 3 of Republic Act 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Additionally, a corresponding amount shall be charged by BEA for the processing of the data request.
For more information, kindly refer to Section 14 of DepEd Order no. 55, s. 2016, or the “Policy Guidelines on the National Assessment of Student Learning for the K-12 Basic Education Program” through this link: https://www.deped.gov.ph/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/DO_s2016_55-3.pdf.
