Thesis Title: PAG-UNLAD NG NABUONG “STRATEGIC INTERVENTION MATERIAL” SA PAGTAAS NG ANTAS NG KAKAYAHAN SA PAGTUTURO NG ARALING PANLIPUNAN 7
Kaligiran ng Pag-aaral
Sa kasalukuyang panahon, maraming paraan ang isinasagawa ng Departamento ng Edukasyon upang maiangat ang antas ng karunungan sa bansa. Ilan sa mga ito ang sunod-sunod na pagbabago ng kurikulum, maging ang paraan ng pagsusulat ng banghay-aralin, pagsasagawa ng mga LAC session, pagsusuri sa mga istratehikong angkop sa kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral at iba pa. Maraming programa ang isinasagawa upang mapataas ang kalidad ng edukasyon sa bansa.
Isang malaking suliranin sa Mataas na Paaralan ng Bagong Nayon II ang mataas na bilang ng pagbagsak lalo sa mga asignaturang Matematika, Agham at Teknolohiya, Ingles at Araling Panlipunan. Napansin din ng mananaliksik na nagkakaroon ng kakapusan sa mga kagamitang panturo lalo na sa aklat ang mga mag-aaral. Sa katunayan, naghihiraman lamang ang mga mag-aaral ng aklat upang masagutan ang ilang mga katanungan ng guro. Isa din sa itinuturing ng mga mag-aaral na pinakamahirap na asignatura ang Araling Panlipunan dahil sa pilit na ipinapamemorya ang mga teknolohiya, petsa, pangyayari na sadyang nagiging pasakit sa mga mag-aaral. Ito rin ang dahilan kung bakit marami ang bumabagsak. Ang may pinakamababang kasanayang pagkatuto sa asignaturang Araling Panlipunan sa ikalawang markahan ay ang aralin ng “Sinaunang Kabihasnan sa Asya” na kung saan nagtala ng sadsad na bilang ng pagkatuto sa datos ng tatlong taong pampanuruan 2016-2017 ay 44.92 samantalang ang 2017-2018 42.75 at 2018-2019 ay nagtala ng 43.53. Ayon sa pakikipanayam ng mananaliksik sa mga guro nito, nahihraan umano ang mga mag-aaral na kabisaduhin ang paksa na ito dahil sa bigat ng impormasyon na kinakailangan nilang matutunan mula rito. Isa rin sa mga nagpapahirap sa mga mag-aaral ang mga di-pangkaraniwang salita na isinasaad sa aklat.
Nakalulungkot isipin na maraming kabana ang humihinto sa pag-aaral dahil sa mahinang kakayahang pang-akademiko. Kaugnay nito, binigyang diin ng Deped Memo No. 117, series of 2005 na may titulong “Training Workshop on Strategic Intervention Materials (SIM) for Successful Learning”. Nakasaad sa memorandum ang pagpapaunlad ng SIM bilang pangunahing kagamitan panlunas sa mababang pagganap ng mga mag-aaral sa asignaturang Agham.
Ayon naman kay Villonez (2018) sa kasalukuyang sitwasyon ng Sistema ng Edukasyon sa Pilipinas, napakaraming kulang na silid-aralan sa buong bansa dahil sa kakulangan ng pondo ng gobyerno kaya hindi sapat na mapaglaanan ng kagamitang panturo ang mga silid-aralan. Maraming taon na ang nakalipas, maraming mag-aaral na ang nakapagtapos, ngunit marami pa rin ang hindi kinakaya ang bigat ng pag-aaral. Bunsod nito, ilan ay humihinto na lamang at ang iba naman ay natatakot ng bumalik sa pag-aaral. Ito ang pilit na binibigyan ng solusyon n gating pamahalaan kaya’t naglipanan ang mga summer classes, intervention class, tutorial center o di kaya naman ay balikan muli ito. Sa tulong ng SIM o Strategic Intervention Material, inaasahang magiging masaya at madali para sa mga mag-aaral na unawain ang Araling Panlipunan.

Please be informed of the additional requirements you need to submit. To process your request, kindly submit the following documents to [email protected], stating your FOI request tracking code:
a. Letter specifying the purpose of the request and the data being requested (year administration, scope, variables);
a. School ID to show proof that you are enrolled in a higher education institution;
B. Copy of your approved thesis/dissertation proposal signed by your Adviser;
c. Endorsement letter signed by the school Dean.
Note that the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA) can only release 10% of the actual number of examinees per year. Individual test results with names shall not be released unless the “data subject agrees to the collection and processing of personal information about and/or relating to him/her” per Section 3 of Republic Act 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
Additionally, a corresponding amount shall be charged by BEA for the processing of the data request.
