To whom it may concern,
Good day!
I, Jan Michael R. Silvestre, would like to request the overall result and the average test results in Science of National Achievement Test from 2008 to 2018 for both Elementary and Secondary Level.
The said request will be used in my on-going thesis titled, "Modelling Learning Retention in Integrated Science Through Motivation, Engagement, and Achievement". The main goal of my thesis is to predict the students learning retention in Integrated Science on the following years based on their motivation to learn Science, engagement in Science class discussion, and their performance in Science. According to the Department of Education (2016), the K to 12 Science curriculum envisions the development of scientifically, technologically, and environmentally literate and productive members of society who are critical problem solvers, responsible stewards or nature, innovative and creative citizens, informed decision makers, and effective communicators. Through my on-going thesis, we can predict the quality of Science education that we are supplying to the students, as well as, the quality of students that we are producing - if we are achieving the vision set by the Department of Education. The data that I am requesting will be used to analyze the trends of the students overall performance and the students performance in Science through National Achievement Test results.
I hope you consider my request. Thank you.
